Meet the Academy SF Counselors!
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, trauma-informed counseling program. By affirming our students’ intersecting identities, we are able to provide culturally-relevant academic, career, and socio-emotional services. We acknowledge the impact that ongoing social factors, such as systemic racism and COVID-19, have on our students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our counseling program is dedicated to the healing of our community.
*******
Our vision is for all members of our diverse student body to graduate having both recognized their multidimensional identities and become independent thinkers. Students will also have learned skills for building positive relationships and for advocating for themselves and their communities.
School Counselor's Role
