Dear Students and Families,
As some of you may know we are not offering the PSAT this year.
Many major college systems have taken steps to remove the SAT and ACT as an admission requirement. The University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems are not using ACT or SAT scores as admission requirements for the next few years. In fact, the UCs Board has voted for the class of 2021 & 2022 to be test optional and for the class of 2023 & 2024 to be test blind. Many private colleges have also become test optional.
For families that would still like to take either exams, please see the below free resources from The ACT and College Board. The best way to prepare and obtain higher scores on these tests is not a one time practice test. Students who improve their scores take the practice tests, sharpen their skills and take the practice tests a few more times.
