SFHS STEAM
Southern Fulton High School STEAM activities & events
Our Vision
The purpose of the STEAM fair is to not only promote the work that our students are achieving, it is also meant to excite the community about STEAM and the opportunities it provides students. At the fair, we will be displaying students’ work from K – 12 art, math, science, culinary, woodshop, vo-tech and the STEM classes. There will also be musical performances by the high school band and choral groups, as well as, live science experiments by chemistry and physics students. The jr. high science classes will also hold a small science fair.
We would like our students in jr. high and elementary to not only be exposed to projects created in high school but also engage their interest. We hope to inspire them to select classes in high school that they will find interesting, engaging and peak their interest in learning. Our ultimate goal is to promote STEAM related activities and opportunities to our students and reward them for their achievements in these areas.
