30 Second Pitch

The 30-second pitch is a clear, brief message or "commercia" about your business. It communicates who your team is, what your business hopes to accomplish, and how an investor can benefit from investing in your application. It's typically about 30 seconds, as it acts as an introduction to your business plan.


Tips:

1. Promote what makes your business unique. For example, if your business is a catering company, don’t just say, “We provide meals for special events.” Instead say, “We make the best Italian food in town and serve it to your guests, so you can enjoy the event.”

2. Discuss the benefits your business brings to clients. Offer up the main problem clients come to you with and how you’re able to solve it. Make sure your pitch leaves your audience with a clear understanding of why your business should be meaningful to them.

3. Include a "Call to Action" - This is a statement within your pitch that tells your audience what they should do next. (e.g. "Download our app today!", or "Invest today; don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!")
