Welcome to the SFHT Education Program!
We’re thrilled to have your children join us on this meaningful spiritual journey—one that will grow with them into adulthood and support them through life’s challenges.
Our program focuses on Values, Character, and Moral Education, taught through stories from ancient Hindu scriptures in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
We look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth together!
In the first three years, we introduce children to stories from Hindu scriptures, highlighting key values they can apply in daily life (e.g., B is for Brotherhood). Homework reinforces these lessons.
Your active involvement is essential to support your child’s—and your family’s—spiritual growth. Children enjoy class more when they’re prepared and familiar with the topic, so please help them stay engaged and ready.
Our generation followed traditions without always understanding their meaning. To preserve our rich Hindu culture, we must learn the 'why' behind our practices and pass that knowledge to our children.
The next three years, they will explore the deeper meanings of our scriptures and symbolism, helping them connect with and embrace these traditions more meaningfully."
In the final years, students focus on applying the values they've learned to real-life decisions. Classes encourage open discussions, helping them navigate the challenges of their teen years through meaningful dialogue. After this stage, they become eligible to serve as teen sevaks
We value your input and feedback as we strive to improve for the benefit of our children. Your involvement at home reinforces the values they learn, greatly enhancing their experience. Parent sessions are offered to help address everyday challenges— we encourage you to participate while your children are in class.
