Religion 6th
This Year our focus is on the stories of the Old Testament and God's Revelation.
We will read, learn and understand God's relationship with his people and the covenant.
And finally, that God's revelation and the covenant are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Chapter 1
We Learn-
We can know God through his creation
God makes himself known through Divine Revelation
God’s Revelation is handed down through the Bible and Tradition
The Bible is a collection of books.
Chapter 2
We Learn-
The Book of Genesis is about beginnings
God created the universe
God is the source of all life.
Human beings are created in God’s image and likeness.
Chapter 3
We Learn-
God created human beings, body and soul
God called us to be stewards of creation
Evil entered the world through a human act
All people suffer the effects of Original Sin
Chapter 4
We Learn-
God promised to send a savior
The first human family struggled because of Original Sin
God made a covenant with Noah
The unity of the human race was lost
