Notes:

  • Courses with a "CE" are concurrent enrollment courses through Snow College. Courses with an "AP" are advanced placement courses that offer college credit through the Collegeboard. Check with your college of choice to see how AP credit is accepted.
  • All students must take 3 science credits for high school graduation. Earth Science A & B and Biology A & B are required. Students may then choose from a variety of optional courses to fulfill the 3rd credit requirement.
  • Students planning on a 4 year college degree or more are encouraged to take as many science courses as possible, including as many college-credit courses as possible (CE, AP, EdNet).
  • Students planning on a 4-year college degree or more are highly encouraged to take all the math courses offered.
  • The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course offers certification through the American Red Cross. All students are encouraged to take this course for general knowledge on first aid, CPR/AED, and basic life support skills.
  • The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course is taught to seniors only, and is only offered 2nd semester. This course is taught at the CTE Center in Richfield, Utah. Student who complete the course and receive their license are immediately employable as an EMT, and will receive a national certification that is accepted most states.
  • Students who are not planning on a college education are encouraged to take some college classes anyway to "get a feel" for what college courses look like. College courses in high school are much cheaper than taking them as a college student after high school.
