SSHS Business Pathways

Business Education is a part of Career and Technical Education (or CTE). CTE provides critical learning and hands-on skills through Pathways within seven Areas of Study. Students who focus on a Pathway acquire the skills necessary for entry into well-paid careers with high potential for rapid financial growth, increased levels of responsibility, and a high degree of personal satisfaction.

Participating in a CTE Business Pathway or any other CTE pathway is different from participating in other SSHS pathways.

Earning a Business Pathway or other CTE pathway:

• Opens up Opportunities to earn Scholarships across the state
• Students will receive an honor cord for graduation
• Student may earn college credit when available
• Students get hands on learning & technical skills training
• Students get a jump start to future careers in all areas
