Create Your Own Obstacle Course

Look around for objects in your house to create an obstacle course. Don’t forget to time yourself!

Ideas and Suggestions

  • Use water bottles for cones to run around, jump over

  • Use chairs and bed sheets to create a tunnel

  • Use painters tape as a balance beam

  • At the halfway point- do an exercise

Questions To Think About

  • How can I use the same object to change my obstacle course?

  • What can I do to make my obstacle course more challenging?

  • Why am I creating an obstacle course?

  • How does an obstacle course relate to Physical Education?

Directions:

  1. Flip the coin to roll the dice

  2. After rolling the dice, match the number on the dice to the stretch

  3. Perform the stretch for 30 seconds

  4. Repeat 6 times
