Making an appointment at a UPMC facility
If your insurance allows and you would like to be seen at a UPMC facility, please call 412 432 3633, Monday - Friday 9am-3pm. Wendy will either answer or call you back. (If she doesn't call you back within a few hours, please contact the athletic trainer.) She can easily make appointments for most of the physicians that see sports/orthopedic injuries and can make suggestions on which physician is best for you to see based upon your condition and its possible need for surgery or other interventions. When you call, please tell her that you go to Serra Catholic and that you got her number from your athletic trainer so she can utilize special schedule spots for athletes. While she cannot schedule you at all offices / for all specialties in the health system, she can give you suggestions/numbers to help you meet your needs.
