Champagne Cellars of Reims

We leave Brussels at 07 am and drive on the highways via Mons and Valenciennes to Reims, the capital and the center of the famous champagne wines. In the late morning we will start our visit with the wine cellars of one of the best known champagne wines, the TAITTINGER Champagne cellars. The duration of the visit of the cellars, inclusive of the tasting of a glass of champagne, is of 1 hr. We take care of the reservation, the price is approx. 20 € (not included) and will be paid directly at the wine cellar. We will book you at the visit of 11.45 am.

After the visit of the cellars, we have following possibilities at your disposal :

OPTION 1 :

• we can reserve for you the lunch in the well-known brasserie “Le Jardin les Crayères” – a 3 courses menu at approx. 75 € per person - inclusive of aperitif (champagne) and 2 glasses of wine. We can only do this if you give us the formal confirmation to do this. Payment for this lunch directly by you in the restaurant. Timing of restaurant reservation will be at 1.30 pm
• we will leave Reims after lunch, at approx. 4 pm after doing a short visit to the cathedral. Here, during centuries, the French kings were crowned.

OPTION 2 :

• have a light meal, then visit of a 2nd champagne cellar (Pommery/Vranken). The visit, inclusive of 1 glass of champagne, costs approx. 20 €; We can take care of the reservation, payment directly on the spot by you.
• or, instead of visiting a 2nd champagne cellar, do the visit of the cathedral of Reims.

We start our journey back to Brussels at approx. 4 pm from Reims, arrival in Brussels at approx. 7 pm.
