Community Service

Many Redwood students ask about volunteering or "community service." In short, community service is working or serving in some capacity for a non-profit organization. Students volunteer for a variety of reasons and can gain a great deal of experience and exposure to a variety of job opportunities.

These are some organizations that are always looking for volunteers:

• Second Harvest Food Bank
• Boys and Girls Club of the Bay Area
• Lucile Packard Children's Hospital
• Ecumenical Hunger Program
• St. Anthony's Dining Room
• Public Libraries
• BOK Ranch - Woodside
