Financial Aid Exit Counseling
Financial Aid Exit Counseling
Please skip this part if you graduated in December 2022.
Dear Graduates:
If you have received a Federal Direct Student Loan at any time while enrolled in the college you are REQUIRED to complete Exit Counseling. It is MANDATORY and needs to be completed by 11:59pm on March 1, 2023.
Failure to complete the Exit Counseling as requested will result in your degree and transcripts being held AND your inability to participate in the commencement ceremony until the counseling has been completed (per the Graduation Policy). This is a federal government regulation, so there are NO EXCEPTIONS.
Instructions to complete the counseling can be found below.
PLEASE NOTE: This is only required if you (the student) are a Federal Direct Loan borrower. If you paid cash, only received a Pell Grant, are VA only recipients, only received private loans, etc. then Exit Counseling is not required.
