Ben Peco is currently studying Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry while preparing to apply for medical school. Previously, he has completed bachelor's degrees in Biology with a concentration in Integrative Biology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. He is working on the anti-selective enolboration-aldolization of N,N-dialkylphenylacetamides. He has also worked in Dr. Emami's research lab prior to join Chanda Research Group. He has also completed an internship at Pennington Biomedical Research Center. When not in class or in the research lab, Ben volunteers with the American Red Cross with activities including being a supervisor for the Disaster Action Team (DAT). His goal is to pursue a career in medicine with an interest in surgery.

Susana K Ferrufino is an international graduate student. She is from Honduras. She graduated from pharmacy school. During her pharmacy school time, she attended many volunteer programs. Most of theses volunteers programs were about offering first aid and health care to remote villages which are lacking ample health care facilities. She also worked in pharmacy hospital for taking care patients with diabetes and blood pressure. Now, she is studying in master's program in Integrated Science and Technology with concentration in Chemistry. She is working on the enantioselective aldol reaction of substituted phenylacetates. Her future goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in Pharmacology.
Sean Reliford has a B.S. in Kinesiology and is currently pursing a B.S. in Integrative Biology with a minor in Chemistry to complete requirements for medical school. He is a supervisor for the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT) and a shelter worker. He is the former Vice President of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at Southeastern. Currently, he is working on the boron-mediated aldol reaction of N,N-dialkyl substituted phenylacetamides. His goal is to commission into the United States military as an officer and pursue a career in medicine.
