Rockbottom Farm and Meadowbrook &Good Pickin' Farms
Two expressions of one shared purpose:
To cultivate food, community, and healing across Massachusetts and New England. Together, they form a living ecosystem of care rooted in the land, guided by compassion, and dedicated to those who serve others.
On the fertile fields of Meadowbrook Farm in Westford, abundance is grown with intention. Each season vegetables are cultivated, harvested with care, and freely given to local food pantries addressing hunger with dignity and generosity. Meadowbrook currently donates with its partnership with Boston Area Gleaners more than 100,000 pounds of fresh food annually, with plans to expand its reach as need continues to grow.
Beyond food, Meadowbrook is a place of connection and joy. Families of first responders and veterans are welcomed to seasonal celebrations, farm days, and hands-on experiences with animals. Among horses, ponies, alpacas, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and rabbits, visitors find moments of calm and delight. These simple, shared experiences foster resilience, strengthen family bonds, and remind participants that healing can begin in ordinary, joyful moments.
Rockbottom Farm in Stow offers a different, yet complementary, environment one designed for privacy, reflection, and deeper healing. Set on 117 acres atop a hill, encircled by a river and crisscrossed with two miles of walking trails, Rockbottom Farm feels intentionally removed from daily life. Its seclusion creates a protected space for those who need it most.
Rockbottom Farm will be serving First Responders and Veterans, Police Officers, Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics, and others who often carry the invisible weight of trauma, loss, and isolation. In partnership with First Responder and Veteran organizations, Rockbottom Farm aims to host structured therapeutic programs, peer-support groups, nature-based counseling, and training and education. These trauma-informed offerings are tailored to the unique realities of service, providing a safe place for restoration, connection, and renewal.
Both farms are guided by a shared belief: food and nature are powerful medicines.
By donating 250,000 pounds of produce from Meadowbrook and Rockbottom Farm, we address immediate food insecurity while investing in long-term wellness. Meadowbrook’s public-facing programs nourish bodies and build community. Rockbottom Farm's future therapeutic work will restores spirits and supports recovery. Together, they create a continuum of care meeting people where they are and honoring the sacrifices they have made.
Our vision is simple and profound: to nourish bodies, restore spirits, and stand beside those who keep our communities safe from the soil beneath our feet to the healing spaces we create on the land.
