Spring has arrived! Good Pickin’ Farm, located on our Westford land, continued its tradition of bringing the community together by hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Celebration. This cherished event unites local families, celebrates the land’s heritage, and supports the ongoing preservation of this 84-acre agricultural treasure.

This year’s celebration took place on Saturday, April 4, and welcomed hundreds of children, parents, and neighbors. Festivities included egg hunts, a petting zoo, and hayrides.

Originally founded in the mid-1700s, the Meadowbrook land operated as a family farm for generations before being preserved through a public-private partnership in the late 1990s. This collaboration protected the 84-acre site from development and restored its historic 1850s schoolhouse, barn, and cider mill for community use.
