🟢 GROWTH MINDSET

“A growth mindset is when students understand that their abilities can be developed,” (Dweck, 2014). It is a mindset that allows people to be more positive about themselves. Understanding the difference between fixed mindset and growth mindset and developing growth mindset are discussed in grade 11 Term 3 SEAL programme, academic year 2022/2022. During the 2020/2021 academic year, after spending seven SEAL meetings learning about growth mindset in homeroom times, grade 11 students are putting together their understanding about the topic in a video format as a class project. Using 15 minutes time in 2 weeks time, students managed to collaborate and create the useful video to their peers.
