#MyFreedomDay is originally a movement produced by CNN to end modern slavery (CNN, 2020). 

In 2020, together with the welfare team, we take the idea of freeing ourselves from modern slavery, such as technology addiction. Even though the freedom meaning might be different from the original meaning, we take the root of this movement to provide a chance for students to raise awareness of modern slavery and also experience the joy of freedom. Once we know how it feels, we can empathize with those who do not have this privilege of freedom, be it from human slavery, modern, or technology addiction slavery.
