From Inside Out
From Inside Out
From Inside Out is a EU-funded project for Small-Scale Partnerships in Youth under the Erasmus+ programme.
This project aimed to empower youth workers from five European countries to initiate a positive dialogue around the topics of mental health & well-being with young people from their local communities.
The ultimate goal was to reduce the negative effects of mental health stigma, misinformation, and lack of resources felt by youngsters from these countries.
Through this project it was be possible to create opportunities to share ideas, knowledge, and new bridges between international organisations and their youth workers, volunteers, and local youth.
The project took place between September 2023 and September 2024, and involved five European organisations: SEEDS Iceland (the coordinating organisation), You in Europe from Greece, Psientífica from Portugal, EPEKA Slovenia, and Ayuntamiento de Maracena from Spain.
All five organisations presented different approaches and struggles when engaging young people in their work, so this was a great learning opportunity that further improved the quality, innovation and recognition of youth work.
