SEEDS is an Icelandic volunteer organisation dedicated to promoting social and cultural understanding, as well as environmental protection and awareness, through volunteer work on various projects in Iceland.
SEEDS volunteers collaborate closely with local communities and international volunteers to develop and implement initiatives that benefit all parties involved: the volunteers, local hosting communities, Iceland, and Europe as a whole.
SEEDS aims to empower, inform, and broaden the perspectives of individuals of all ages and backgrounds, encouraging them to become proactive global citizens and contribute to future social development.
You in Europe is a Greek organisation that provides a platform for everyone passionate about lifelong learning. It formalises the idea that every individual has the opportunity to contribute to society positively and promote social cohesion through personal development.
The organisation achieves this by developing programmes and initiatives that motivate young people and adults to participate in learning activities. Additionally, it supports individuals with special needs in accessing education and better integrating into society, and it helps volunteers and the community acquire new skills and competences.
Psientífica - Association for the Promotion and Social Development is a Portuguese non-profit organisation founded in 2005 by a group of young professionals in Education and Psychology. Since its inception, Psientífica has developed numerous actions, national and international projects, and has engaged in local, regional, and international partnerships to promote the social development of its community, particularly youth.
By utilising non-formal education, they aim to foster the development of social and personal competences that are essential for active and responsible citizenship, empowering individuals to drive social change.
The Scientific and Research Association for Art, Cultural and Educational Programmes and Technology, EPEKA, Social Enterprise, was founded in 2008. Initially established to connect creators of cultural, artistic, educational, scientific, and technological content for the European Capital of Culture 2012 project, EPEKA continues to focus on EU citizenship, EU values, and intercultural dialogue.
Operating as a non-governmental, non-profit organisation, EPEKA has adhered to the principles of a social enterprise since 2013, consistently working to empower marginalised communities and promote social inclusion through innovative projects and programmes.
Ayuntamiento de Maracena provides services to the youth of Maracena, a key city in the metropolitan area of Granada, Spain, with a population of approximately 23,000, including 5,000 young people. This demographic encompasses school-aged children, teenagers, and young adults (18-25 years).
Espacio Joven Maracena is a youth space dedicated to the needs of the youth, promoting their participation and education in a dynamic manner, especially through leisure and free-time activities, while also working to prevent harmful habits.
