SEEDS Iceland hosted a storytelling event at Grófin Library. Using the visual Storytelling Cards to guide the process, participants expressed themselves through various formats such as narration, drama, and drawing.
Open to all and free of charge, the event encouraged self-expression and personal growth through the transformative power of storytelling.
Additionally, SEEDS presented the results from the From Inside Out project; and introduced participants to Erasmus+ projects like Youth Exchanges, and the SALTO Training platform, offering further opportunities for youth training and development.
For World Mental Health Day, Ayuntamiento de Maracena hosted a Mental Health Awareness event, bringing together 25 key local representatives from elementary and high schools, youth crime law enforcement, psychologists, career counselors, and city council policymakers.
The event focused on promoting collaboration to better support young people facing mental health challenges. Youth workers and volunteers from Espacio Joven Maracena presented practical solutions and good practices that can be easily adopted by other local institutions.
A key highlight was the presentation of results from the From Inside Out project. Attendees were also provided with hard copies of the Toolbox - an important resource of actionable strategies and tools to help address youth mental health issues.
At the end of the project, Ayuntamiento de Maracena organised a presentation of the results to volunteers and youth workers.
They presented practical solutions and good practices that can be easily adopted by other local institutions. The goal was to empower educators and youth workers to promote positive dialogue around mental health and well-being, working together to reduce the stigma, misinformation, and lack of resources that young Europeans face.
EPEKA hosted a Mental Health Awareness Workshop for art teachers.
During the event, educators came together to learn how art can be used as a powerful tool for helping young people express their emotions and cope with mental health challenges.
Through hands-on activities and expert-led discussions, participants discovered how to create safe, creative spaces where students can feel free to express themselves and find healing through their artwork.
