Fifth Grade students study ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies in addition to having the opportunity of enriching experiences with Unified Arts such as Technology, Art, Physical Education, Music, and Guidance. Students are taught skills to be successful as they navigate the Middle School environment. Habits of the mind (similar to growth mindset) becomes a big focus for these young learners as we help them develop a strong sense of community as they build habits of lifelong learners: note-taking, organization, studying, digital citizenship, independence, collaboration and cooperation.
