On Sunday, May 26, after the Holy Mass, at the initiative of the Catholic Community of Nyárádszereda, the Nyárádszereda Mayor's Office planted a pine tree in the memory of Pope Francis's visit to Csíksomlyó - as a gift. The gift tree was planted in front of the parish on the main square of Nyárádszereda.

Sándor Tóth and László Drócsa, parish priest, interpreted two short passages from the Laudato Si encyclical. Then they prayed for the community of Pope Francis and for the success of the Pope's visit.
