Your Volunteer Coordinator will email all waiting and applicant volunteers with all of the open volunteer shifts
Once you see a shift that works for you, please respond to the email!
Your staff will coordinate a start date with you and will email you all of your “first day” information
You will receive virtual training (dependent on role and linked below) to review prior to your first onsite training
During your first training shift, you will have your staff member available to you throughout the entire 2 hours; together, you will shadow and review information and practice your volunteer role together
During your second shift, your staff will be available to you sporadically throughout your shift to support you while you gain independence in the role. You will also have a Volunteer Guide available during most shifts to provide additional support.
If you move roles or add roles to your volunteering, the same general process will occur - every role receives a virtual training, a full 2 hour training shift with a staff member, and then support as needed while you gain independence.
