Volunteer t-shirts are available to all volunteers and are stored and washed here at the rescue. If you work in a clean team or cat care position, your clothing will be at risk because these positions work with a lot of cat-related debris and non toxic cleaning chemicals. It is best to wear clothing that can be damaged. Additionally, remember kitties have sharp toenails, so it is important to wear shirts and pants that you are okay getting holes in. Please wear pants that adequately cover your legs.
Headphones: Volunteers are more than welcome to wear headphones during their shifts but it is requested that all volunteers can still hear their supervisor should there be an emergency or they need your attention.
While you are here at the rescue, you may store your belongings in a locker, in a cubby or on a hook located in the Volunteer Alcove. SAFe Rescue is not liable for any stolen, lost, broken or damaged belongings during your volunteer shift. Please be mindful of the items you bring with you and be sure to leave with them at the end of your shift - we all share the lockers and hooks so it is important we respect everyone's locker needs!
Please park in the front lot, off of Ballinger Way NE. Please use the parking spots that are not directly in front of the businesses who share the lot.
SAFe Rescue is not liable for any damage to your vehicle while you are here at the Rescue
