RE-THINKING WATER TANK
Site analysis:
Project location : Virar west, Palghar, Maharashtra
Climate: warm and humid
Intent
The site is located in central park which is a 26 year old site situated in virar west.
we also want to provide leisure spaces for elders and children.
citizens usually sit on the benches on the ground and a few senior citizens of them to play bhajans in the afternoon times .
The children use the ground for playing cricket ,tennis and other games.
The extension should be such that it won’t interfere in the current activities going on the site.
The extension/ structure is such that the it would be inviting the parents as a working space.

Program
use exisisting structure of the water tank and reconstruct the floor plates as well as provide extensions to create interactive and interconnected spaces for the users to inhabit.
To provide a reading library with different sections.
A leisure space for the children as well as adults of the society to come and play together.
A co-working space cum a meeting room for the society
