Hello, I’m Francis Florendo and this will be my fifth year coaching Torrey Pines Dance Team. I have been dancing for ten years now, and have been a member of teams like iLL Habits, Co-founder of Otay All Male, and currently I am a Director of 220. I have also taught at multiple studios such as Culture Shock San Diego and Studio FX. Aside from dance, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 2018 at San Diego State University. My goal as a Coach and an Instructor is to motivate my students and inspire them to see and become the greatest version of themselves and as dancers.

Kaylar Preite
Kaylar Preite
Kaylar has coached at TPHS since 2018, with a brief intermission in 2020. She has been dancing for 20 years and has danced with 220, Storymovers, Beyond Babel,Through the Roots, Aurora and Aespa. She was a National Champion at WCE and won Best in Hip Hop. Coach Kaylar enjoys spending time with friends and family, writing and traveling. She grew up in an environment that pushed her individuality and creativity, learned to be self sufficient, and that you should make your dreams a reality.
