This class is designed to provide a strong physical conditioning program and at the same time, offer ample opportunity to express and develop individual creativity through participation in dance combinations and choreography. Students explore the world of dance, including techniques of ballet, modern, jazz, and hip hop. They develop knowledge and skills about proper body alignment, dance history, criticism, composition, cultural dance, and performance art. This course incorporates dance with the health component using online virtual learning, “Edgenuity”.
