Edgenuity & Curriculum Overview
The Edgenuity platform enables students to take ownership of their learning. (Link to instructions for accessing Edgenuity.)
The curriculum is grounded in research and aligned with state standards, national standards, and NGSS. Courses combine direct-instruction videos featuring expert, on-screen teachers with rigorous assignments, performance tasks, and assessments to engage students and ensure subject-area mastery.
Students receive an Assignment Sheet every two weeks that provides the list of work students must complete during that time period.
OLP courses are UC/CSU A-G approved (unless noted otherwise) and NCAA Clearinghouse approved.
OLP Teachers provide facilitated support focused on student pacing with the curriculum, providing resources as needed, communicating with parents, and student success in the program.
