Olivia Woodson is a third-year doctoral student working under the mentorship of Drs. Nader Amir and Jennie Kuckertz. She is broadly interested in transdiagnostic mechanisms that contribute to the onset and maintenance of anxiety and related disorders, with a particular focus on loneliness and social connection. Her work uses tools like smartphone sensing and EMA to study how everyday behaviors relate to these mechanisms in real time, with the goal of identifying behavioral markers and developing personalized, technology-based interventions. Outside of the lab, she enjoys practicing yoga, trying new foods, and playing with her dog, Barley.
