Spectators are welcome at matches. This allowance can be usurped by any particular club's on site COVID protocols or privacy policies. For the 2021 spectators are expected to follow COVID protocols as proposed by the courses. As of now (Aug 22, 2021) there are no particular COVID restrictions/protocols being implemented for golf by the PIAA. To avail yourself of any COVID protocols for any particular golf course, feel free to call the host club and ask the pro shop. Sandy Run has no outdoor mask policy at this time. Spectators are expected to walk and small children that accompany any spectator should be supervised at all times. All customary golf etiquettes are to be followed at all times.
As per PIAA regulations, no spectator may interact with a player during a match. A minimum distance of 25 yards from any player is to be respected. The following is the notice of the PIAA with regard to spectator decorum at all events.
The Suburban One League promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial, or sexist comments or other intimidating actions at officials, student-athletes, or team representatives will not be tolerated. Individuals making such remarks may be removed from the site of competition. Also, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages or use of artificial noisemakers are prohibited.
