Creating an exam period in Schoology (only if you are administering a midterm or final):

End of Marking Period 2/Semester 1:

• Marking Period ends on 1/26/2025

• Grades are due by January 27, 2025

  • How to Finalize Grades Step by step video

• Gradebooks locked by 1/28/2025

• Report Cards are Run and Published to the Parent/Student Portal on 1/30/2025

Reminder:  Please ensure grades from Schoology & PTP are correctly synced (sync status log - clipboard icon) and there are no MP2 errors before finalizing  You can check the SYNC Status Log (clipboard icon) to ensure the most recent sync is recorded. If you become aware of an error, it is important to communicate this to your building administration because it impacts students’ overall GPA, class rank, and honor roll eligibility.  

Beginning Semester 2/Marking Period 3:

• Begins on 1/27/2025

• Set Up Gradebook (HS) entering grading categories and weights

  • Start in PowerTeacher Pro by setting up your categories

  • Setup categories in Schoology and sync with PowerTeacher Pro

• Thursday, January 23 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm 

• Friday, January 24 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
