UPDATE 9/4/26: Optional DESE shared ATLAS Diagnostics Are Now Available!

The optional ATLAS Diagnostics are now available in the Classroom Portal for teachers in grades 3–8. These diagnostics can be used as an additional tool to help identify students’ current understanding, strengths, and areas for growth. Teachers may choose to administer the diagnostics when they feel they would be helpful in informing instruction, planning targeted support, or gaining additional insight into student learning. These assessments are optional and are intended to be a resource for teachers—not an additional required assessment.
