Hi! My name is Jenny Huynh, and I am so excited to be your child's multilingual teacher this year!
This will be my fifth year teaching. In addition to teaching multilingual students at Meyer, I have also had the opportunity to teach in a kindergarten classroom here at Meyer. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern Illinois University as well as my ESL endorsement, and I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology.
As a Multilingual teacher, I work collaboratively with general education teachers to support students' English language development and academic success. Through push-in support and co-teaching, I work alongside classroom teachers to provide language support within the general education classroom. This approach allows students to learn alongside their peers while receiving additional support to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my dog, Charlie. I also love to be active, cook and try new restaurants around me.Â
