Literacy
Weekly spelling sort and activities -Spelling activities completed in class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - Notebooks are due on Thursday for marking and Spelling Quiz on Friday.
Novel Study - Silverwing. This week we continue reading the book and completing comprehension questions. Students will be filling in their Vocabulary Log too. There will be group reading, individual reading and silent reading. Students should take the book home to stay on top of assigned reading.

Sierra Club Workshop -Lifecycles and Ecosystems. Thursday, November 12th from 9-10:30. This will take place rain or shine so please ensure your child comes to school with outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather on Thursday.
