This is our last week of group spelling. Next week we will be classroom-based and working with words from the Novel Pax
Novel Study - Pax. Students all have a reading schedule and should be reading 2-3 chapters each day. The novel should be finished being read by May 14th.
Writing -Comprehension Journal for PAX. There is a journal question for each chapter. Up to and including Chapter 11, is due on Thursday, May 6th.
Social Studies
Human Rights in Canadian History. - Pamphlet activity. Students will pick either a person or event that made a significant impact on Canadian human rights. Rough notes are due on Thursday. The Pamphlet is due on Thursday, May 13th.
Math
Fractions - Fractions quiz - Tuesday, May 4th. We will begin connecting fractions and decimals this Wednesday.
Outdoor Ed - Biodiversity in our place. Next week we will walk to Whitehead Park and explore plants and animals in our neighbourhood.
