HELLO THERE!  My name is Josh Gubits and I am Team Equinox's science teacher for the 2023-24 school year.

I have BA in Environmental Studies and a MA in Teaching, Science Education. Prior to teaching, I spent 15 years as Environmental  Scientist working in water quality. I enjoy creating opportunities for students to learn Life Science through an inquiry and lab-based  approach, and am so excited to teach this year.

I spend my free time in the spring foraging for mushrooms. My summers are spent hiking, biking, fishing and floating in beautiful Montana. As fall settles in, I chase the elusive steelhead in the wild and scenic rivers of Oregon and Washington, and in the winter I like to ski and paint.
