Grades and Missing Work
When should I check grades, and how often should I check them?
All subject area grades are updated by Friday morning at 9 am.
Checking grades weekly is really important to stay on top of missing work.
Weekly work ethic grades inform parents as to student effort on assignments and can also give students information on missing work. If a student receives a work ethic grade of '0,' that means the student did not complete that assignment.
Work ethic grades are averaged, but one low score can affect eligibility for sports and/or activities at KMS.
If an assignment shows up as missing and has a work ethic score of '0,' what should I do?
If this happens, this means one of two things. The most likely answer is you did not complete the assignment. If you believe you did complete the assignment, it is likely you did not follow the directions and complete the assignment correctly. Go back to that assignment, read the directions carefully, finish it, and resubmit the assignment. *Notify the teacher you completed the missing assignment by emailing that teacher.
