Flathead High School Activities & Athletics

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

The Appinoxwis Chapter of the National Honor Society here at Flathead High School is made up of members from the Sophomore thru Senior Class.  The NHS Chapter focuses its energy on being a service organization for School District #5. The students volunteer 14 hours of their time in various capacities, but mostly with ushering school events and tutoring at Hedges, a grade school in Kalispell.  In addition the club has volunteered for and Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army. The requirements to be a member are rigorous as each student must have a 3.5 GPA, serve the community beyond the 14 hours, be involved in school activities, and of course be an honorable person.  Each year this club has the best and brightest of FHS giving back to their community.

Applications for NHS are in September.  Anyone applying must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA, must have attended FHS for a year, be a Sophomore - Senior, be involved in any FHS sport, activity or club, and have 10 hours of community service in the past year.
