Weekly Overview

This week in Grade 3/4 - December 7-11th

Math – We began looking at area and perimeter. To solve these questions we have to use our knowledge of adding and multiplication. We have made 'perimeter people' and played a few games that have strengthened our understanding

Language Arts – This week we looked at weather we would rather be in the tropics for the holidays or in a snowy place like Pemberton! Each student organized their ideas first in a graphic organizer and than brought their ideas to life in full sentences in their good copies. We also had our word work check up this week and are moving onto fun holiday words for our last week :)

Science/ Socials – We had our showcase event with Ms. Hahns class and each group presented their learning to our class as well. It was a great opportunity to practice their presentation skills -- each group has meet with Ms. Smith to know what to work on for our next project coming in January.

Art - we worked on making Northern Light mountains to add a bit of colour into our classroom. Check them out on SeeSaw!
