District 9 ILMEA Information

ILMEA Choir Festival Information and Audition Music

• The Illinois Music Educators Association hosts an annual Middle School festival for 7/8 Choir students who are interested in participating in a festival.

• This year, there will be an inaugural Treble Ensemble for additional treble voices to participate.  All students will audition with the mixed ensemble music and students will then be placed in either the Mixed Ensemble or Treble Ensemble.  

AUDITIONS 2026

• Permission slips are due Wednesday, September 16, 2026

• VIRTUAL SUBMISSIONS DUE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2026

• Below is where you can find recordings for each of the audition songs and assistance with scales & triads.
