Performance INformation & Concert Attire

Concert Attire

Specific attire is required of all band members for our normal concert performances. 

All 6th and 7th Grade band students will wear the following at all performances:

• Black dress pants/skirt

• Black socks

• Black shoes (ALL BLACK – No other colors on the shoes)

• Music Department Polo Shirt (Purchase this at the beginning of the school year from the music department)

8th Grade students will be wearing:

• Concert Black (black shirt and pants/skirt, or black dress, black tights/socks, black shoes)

• This can be the same attire as 6th & 7th grade. Students are encouraged to buy a nice button up black dress shirt. 

• Please be aware that the school dress code is still in effect. 

• Boys can wear ties when appropriate shirts are worn. 

If you lose your Polo Shirt at some point during the year, contact Ms. Karvelius to purchase another or find another solution.  

Think ahead! 

Make sure you have all the parts of your band concert attire ready ONE WEEK before the concert, not just the night before.
