Jazz Band

General Information

The Murphy Jr. High School Jazz Band is an extra-curricular instrumental group. Rehearsals are most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays throughout the school year. Students who go to high school for math are required to come to Friday rehearsals. Friday rehearsals are optional for everyone else, but encoouraged. Jazz Band is open to any instrumental music student who is interested in learning a new type of music! If you are not in regular band, but can read some standard music for bass guitar, guitar, piano, or drumset can also participate by contacting Ms.Karvelius
