Rivalry

Our rivalry game against Prairie View has always been big in our community. It was bigger this year because 9News chose us as the Game of the Week, so we had lots of moments to cover on this spread. I decided to make the dominant the photo of Isaiah with the cup and being interviewed because it best represented the story and the confidence of why we not only "own this town" but we knew we'd win the game. I chose two cutouts with the gradient bars to be the dominant features in the small photo packages on the sides to draw readers in. I also included the transparent boxes to add that layering. within these photos packages, there was atleast one or two photos that layered within that. The all-coverage device was put at the top and side as more layered coverage.
