With the front endsheet, I had to process how to introduce our umbrella sections that were spinoffs of our theme statement. I decided to introduce some theme copy where I could create different levels of typography that led into the "yeah" of our verbal statement. I put a transparent box in front of the word "Here" so the reader would know to start "here" before reading through the entire endsheet. I thought this would be a good thing to add to our theme copy on all theme pages as well.
I decided to make the word "yeah" large with an elipsis so that it would lead into all of our section statements. With umbrella coverage, your section titles are completed thoughts from your verbal statement. For example, you would read "Yeah... we can do that" or "Yeah... we are always here." I then chose photos that could represent each section, and I cut out a few and put them behind the purpole gradient while others kept as is to show variety. I added a purple transparent box to each photo as well. The outlined numbers with a transparent box was something I thought would be a good folio throughout the book so I introduced it here on the endsheet with each section. I also included our all-coverage device quotes around the borders for more coverage of students.
