We are proud of all our students and have the highest expectations of them in terms of academic achievement, personal development and conduct. Staff are committed to ensuring students are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

Our approach ensures that every student is known and valued as an individual. Students join one of three 11-16 ‘home schools’ based on their ability, skills and family ties. Each school has its own Head of School and a team of pastoral staff.

Our curriculum offers a rich variety of subjects with KS3 students following the International Baccalaureate Middle Years programme; the programme holistically addresses students’ intellectual, social, emotional and physical wellbeing.

Students also benefit from clubs, tours, cultural visits and outdoor pursuits. World-class learning facilities include a library, multimedia digital centre, science laboratories, music suites, drama and dance studios, technology rooms, extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities and landscaped grounds.

As a Stationers’ school and part of the Leigh Academies Trust, students benefit from a range of unique opportunities, including 1:1 mentoring, work experience, career talks and guidance from business leaders. Please visit our website to find out more about our academy, including full details of our admission arrangements.
