Introduction

This information is part of the Scuti training course.

It covers the following topics:

• Code style standard used in Scuti
• The DRY principle
• The KISS principle
• The YAGNI principle
• The SOLID principles

The programming language used in this document is PHP version 5.

However the same principles apply to other programming languages.

For the code style this may not be the case.

After completing this course you are expected to be able to write clean code and understand why you should write your code in compliance with the code style and principles listed above.
