This page guides you through using the Lightspeed Access Scan extension to determine if a website is blocked, how to evaluate its appropriateness and data privacy, and the necessary steps to request that a blocked site be unblocked for student use.

Directions for use:
Navigate to the site you wish to check.
Click the Lightspeed Access Scan extension located on top right of your Chrome browser.
Type in the email address of any student.
Click Scan.
Lightspeed Access Scan agent will provide you with the following information:
Status of page
Any links from the page allowed.
Any links from the page blocked.
Lightspeed Access Scan will instantly provide you with the status of the website for students. If the website is currently ALLOWED for students, you will see the symbol above.
If the website is currently BLOCKED for students, you will see this symbol.
If you would like to request that the site be unblocked, Lightspeed Scan Agent can assist. Click the Email results to capture all of the link information needed.
Click "Copy to Clipboard" and send this information, along with your name, email, school site and grade level you teach, to support@scusd.edu to request a review of the site.
