Pre-Induction prepares candidates to obtain a preliminary teaching credential through successful completion of required coursework, fieldwork, and a performance demonstration of their knowledge, skills, and abilities within their program requirements.
Pre-Induction participants will complete:
Participating Teacher Application (email the New Teacher Support office for a link)
Assignment Record Sample
Onboarding Workshop (Y1 Pre-Induction or Returning Pre-Induction)
Kickoff Workshop
SMART goal for each cycle
Participating Teacher Quarterly surveys
Weekly Support Meetings with Mentor (form provided by your SP; 9 hours per cycle minimum)
Winter Seminar (optional) and Colloquium (optional)
