What is Schoology?
Schoology is an internal, educational Learning Management System and social networking platform that offers us a space for online learning, communication, collaboration, and increased student access to curriculum and supplemental content.
The SCUC ISD Schoology site is not visible to the public. All students will have an account once the LMS is up and running (a few weeks after we begin the 2020-21 school year. With any LMS or online learning system, teachers will begin with online rules and expectations, and how to properly use technology for school.
Parents will also be provided a Schoology Parent Portal to view their child's work, activities, and posts. Parents are not required to create an account, but doing so will allow them to see all of their SCUC students' assignments in one place. Directions on how to use Schoology will be included with the email information as well as available on the SCUC ISD website.
